Acadia National Park – AUG 2013

First trip together in a rented RV, a 25′ Class C.  Tight for the four of us, but certainly would get us accustomed to spending time very closely together.  It was a good RV for our first venture, handled well and had all the functions we needed.
We stayed at Hadley’s Point Campground in Bar Harbor (Bah Hahba), and took FREE shuttle service into the park, and downtown.  Had a great day hiking Mt Cadillac. Caught in a rainstorm halfway up, but dried out very will once we reached the summit. Spectacular views, great trail, and we gathered so many blueberries for the next morning’s pancakes!
We all managed to get through the whole weekend and travels without killing each other, and THIS adventure is what sealed the deal for us to actually go out and get an RV for us to spend out vacations traveling and seeing this country.
